IonQ, a leading quantum company, today announced the pricing of a $2.0 billion equity offering consisting of 16,500,000 shares of IonQ’s common stock, each at $93 per share. The securities offered will be purchased from the underwriter by an entity managed by Heights Capital Management, Inc.
IonQ has announced the successful completion of its acquisition of Vector Atomic, a quantum sensing company. The all-stock transaction is intended to expand and integrate Vector Atomic’s advanced precision atomic clocks, inertial sensors, and synchronization hardware into IonQ’s quantum technology platform, which already includes computing and networking.
IonQ completed its acquisition of UK-based Oxford Ionics, strengthening its trapped ion quantum technology and expanding its presence in Europe, Asia, and other global markets.
